Hey there, it's me, Amy!

Like many kids who love animals, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Growing up on a farm in Lodi, Wisconsin, surrounded by nature and animals, it felt like the perfect fit—and in many ways, it still does. But instead of becoming a Vet, I became a Labor & Delivery Nurse at St. Mary's for 18 years, one of the coolest jobs ever! I honestly thought I'd retire there...until I picked up a camera!

Here is my story:

I’ve been married since 2001, and we have one amazing son who graduated from Middleton High School, and a spoiled rescue pup named Piper. When my son was around seven, I decided to pick up a new hobby and debated between learning guitar or getting a camera (I decided I wasn't going to end up playing on stage so the camera won.)

I’m so glad that was the decision I made because I had no idea how much I would fall in love with photography. What began as a fun pastime, has grown into a second career—one I’ve poured my heart, soul, and creativity into for over 12 years! I'm proud to say I've been doing it full-time since 2019, something I never ever would have imagined. 

As a woman-owned entrepreneur, this journey has been filled with hard work, dedication, many long hours, and lots of learning curves, but also countless rewards. I've feel deeply blessed to be able to use my passion for creativity and love for people in ways I never imagined.  

I bring a lot of patience (labor can take a long time!), a keen eye for detail, as well as a sense of fun! And both clients & patients have told me I help them feel calmer, so if you're nervous about being in front of the camera, don't worry, I've got you! Most importantly, I’m passionate about helping you feel good about yourself, and creating heirloom-quality art that your family can cherish for generations. My goal is to make you feel like family and serve you with care, intention, and excellence.
